Group Spirit Event

Hey guys (and girls),

has nostalgia already kicked in? Do you already miss the play and your fellow actors? Well, I do, so here's a call for some group spirit events that we could hold during the "vacations". Please feel free to make suggestions (in addition to The King's Speech and Ilka's suggestion for cake massacre). I'll then set up a doodle and try to find a date where as many people as possible can participate.

Best,
Bernhard

  1. I'm still in favor of barbecueing... no matter how cold it is =)

Apart from that we might repeat swimming or we could do movie nights together.

Or why don't we see, what the new Irish Pub looks like?

  5. So, don't shoot me for this but what do you think about a Karnevals-Party?
    ...could be fun...?

  6. I think playing Werewolf is a very nice idea.
Playing games is generally a very good idea for group spirit events, it needn't always be Werewolf. There are plenty of funny games which are suitable for groups.
But first I think we should realise Ilka's idea: a Karnevals-Party! I've been wanting to wear my Venician mask for two years. ;-)

  7. I'm not such a Karneval-Party fan, but I don't shoot people who are.

As long as it's a group spirit I'd be in.

  8. Don't worry Sabine, I kept Werewolf in mind ;)

How about we pay the Irish Pub a visit at the start of the term? To get to know the newbies, like we did last time?

Karneval sounds fun. May I wear the Mr. Slobby mask? ^^ And @Ilka and Anna: Blood? ^^

How many weeks should we plan ahead for that party? What do you think? I'll set up a doodle at the start of the next week, then.

I guess we could do a movie night and/or pub night before the party? During the next two weeks?

    Edit: Typos

  9. We just went to the Irish pub on Saturday. It's easy to find, but it's not as big as the old one. But it's still sort of nice there :-D

  10. well.... Rosenmontag is the 7th of march and after Aschermittwoch the karnevalstime is over. but that would be a little bit too short for planning, wouldn't it? so we could plan an open minded costume party.... (and for the blood... we'll see...)

I also have another suggestion... it's been ages since i went to the Osnabrücker Zoo the last time. And I really miss it. Would anyone care to come with me?

  11. Zoo sounds great :)

Yes, the 7th would be a bit too soon, I guess. How about we plan for the week of the 21st-27th? The week before that I'll be in Dresden, but if that week suits everyone else better, I guess I'd have to live with that ^^

  12. A famous person once said: I've been to the zoo...

I'm in for another Zoo Story ^^

And I've not been to Osnabrücker Zoo for quite some time either... hopefully we won't meet Jerry there....

  13. Concerning the "costume party": Please not between the 19th and the 21st! Any other time!
I think we should first get some ideas how and especially where we could do that party anyhow. Maybe we can talk about it tomorrow at the "Tortenmassaker".
Osnabrücker Zoo would also, like most of the GSE ;-), be all right for me, although not very exiting, because I've just been there at the beginning of January this year.
    I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

  14. There are still some unrealised ideas here... is that to come?

    Best, Stefan

  15. Some of them, yes. Hiking, probably zoo... not so sure about the costume party, though...
